Restorative yoga with live Kora music by Josh Doughty,

8 October, 4.30 - 6.30pm - SOLD OUT

Join me for a 2 hour session of gentle movement, restorative yoga poses and yoga nidra (guided meditation). The workshop will involve gentle movement to prepare the body for holding supported postures for 5-10 minutes.  Each supported posture helps slow down the nervous system, thus helping to relieve the effects of chronic stress.  We will finish with a lovely yoga nidra for ultimate relaxation. The session will be accompanied by the relaxing music of the Kora (as west African-21 stringed harp) played by Josh Doughty, one of the UK’s best young Kora players. At the end of the session, there will be a chance to have a hot drink and chat. All equipment provided, including yoga bolsters for support.

Cost £25. Suitable for all levels of fitness & yoga experience. Beginners welcome!

She will also soothe you into a healing state with her voice, singing a mantra to ground you and bring you back to wholeness. Join together for some light refreshments to finish. Cost: £27. Beginners welcome.
